Connecticut Humane Society to Benefit from New Donation Program
“As a Connecticut manufacturing company, we selected the Connecticut Humane Society to launch Saving Spot. With every Saving Spot purchase, we will provide the Connecticut Humane Society with new collars for their shelter dogs.” Cheryl Pedersen, owner of Poochie-Pets said. “With many rescue organizations needing help, we will assign a designated time period in which they will receive the Saving Spot collars. Once that time period is up, another charity will be selected, and so on. That way, we are able to help as many organizations as possible.”
Products from the Saving Spot line consist of Poochie-Bells, collars and leashes. The company plans to add to the line later this summer with other dog-themed products, all of which are made in the USA. More information about Saving Spot can be found on the company’s website at www.poochie-pets.net.
Donations to the Connecticut Humane Society will be made through December 31, 2012. The next participating organization will be announced on January 1, 2013. There is no charge to participate and nonprofit dog rescue organizations who would like to be considered for the program should contact Poochie-Pets by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
