“Whenever I’m alone with you, you make me feel like I am home again. You make me feel like I am young again. You make me feel like I am fun again. However far away, I will always love you.” Love Song – performed by The Cure & Adele
Love is my favorite shared emotion with my furry four-legged friends. It is said that humans are the only species that feel & express true unconditional love. I beg (another shared action) to differ. The Crowe Family shared with us this touching photo of their son with their pooch. The unconditional love that is mutually exchanged in this slice of play time is undeniable. Pure unconditional love that comes with wet dog smell, hairs stuck all over, bad doggie breath, claws marks on the pool float, etc. But who cares? There are no hidden objectives with this relationship, with few expectations and deep adoration on both sides. Don’t you wish you could bottle it up and open it for those times when we need a reminder that we are loved?
Live In Dog Years Moments
Sometimes we need to take purposefully a Live In Dog Years moment to appreciate the special relationship between pooch and human. What do you do to show your furry friend your love? An extra long walk, play or snuggle time? We’d love to hear about it.
