Meet Our Poochie-Pets Team: Sandy Krajick

We Are So Lucky To Have Talented Members Such as Sandy!

Meet Sandy Krajick, a production team member here at Poochie-Pets. She helps with our sewing needs, pulling orders, and creating PoochieBells® by preparing the ribbons for their hardware, and then adding the snaps and rivets. Sandy has been with us for about 3 ½ years, originally serving as our sewing person. “I was unhappy in my job at the time, and was looking for a small company where each person’s role was appreciated. I found exactly that at Poochie-Pets,” said Sandy. She has enjoyed how her position has changed as our product lines have evolved.

Sandy QuoteSandy has a small business of her own on the side. She creates purses for craft shows and consignment shops. “I have always liked sewing,” said Sandy. “My grandmother lived with me when I was growing up. She made Raggedy Ann dolls and taught me how to sew.” You can check out Sandy’s beautiful creations on her Bags with Pursonality Facebook Page.

Sandy and her husband Kent have two sons, Kyle and Jordan. One of her sons is in college and the other has graduated and is now working. Funny enough, Sandy is originally from Simsbury, where Poochie-Pets is located. She now lives in a nearby town, but her mom still lives in Simsbury. Her drive to work each day is filled with reminiscing as she passes by the house she lived in until she was five.

According to Sandy, “My favorite part of working at Poochie-Pets is that I get to work with my hands, creating something from start to finish. I feel a great sense of accomplishment. I also enjoy the people I work with.”        **…and we love her! 🙂

Finally, Sandy says her favorite Poochie-Pets product is our Live In Dog Years Pub Glassware Set. The artwork on them makes her smile every time she takes a sip of her iced tea!
